Mourning the loss of one of my former foster dogs- Dee. She was a special girl who made an impression on everyone she met. She was adopted about a year ago to a wonderful couple. They gave her the best year of her life. RIP Deeter Peters- know that you were loved by all who had a part in your rescue journey.

The best news ever- I was under the impression from correspondence that the decision was made to send Dee to the bridge. Tonight however, I received an email that stated her family chose to give her one last chance- and she took it. She is not out of the woods but made significant progress today. I apologize for putting out this post prematurely.
ReplyDeleteUpdate- Deidre has overcome pneumonia. Her mega-E has cleared up and she does not need adaptive equipment to eat. She walked back into the clinic today for her check-up instead of the stretcher that brought her in last time. I could not have asked for a better Christmas gift!
